WHY STUDY LAW, TECHNOLOGY, AND CULTURE (LTC) AT NJIT?
The law impacts every aspect of modern life, and those with an understanding of the legal system have opportunities in the fields of law, policy, government, business, and education.
The B.A. in Law, Technology, and Culture (LTC) is an interdisciplinary legal studies program combining a traditional pre-law education with the innovative benefits afforded by NJIT’s polytechnic campus, emphasizing a 21st century approach to the intersection of science, technology, and law. The LTC program draws from history, humanities, science, technology, engineering, and management. Students specialize their coursework, internships, and research in healthcare law, environmental policy, media regulation, forensics, patent law, criminal justice, or business law. The optional Patent Law concentration provides additional preparation for students with a specific interest in this area of law. All of our students benefit from pre-law advising to navigate the law school admissions process.
